Brexit: firms brace for immediate enforcement

The financial services industry is unprepared for many of the consequences of Brexit – and no one knows how forgiving regulators will be.

At the start of September, the UK FCA listed those areas where its so-called general relief would not apply, and it would expect immediate compliance with the new regime. The areas highlighted included Mifir transaction reporting and Emir reporting obligations.
