Brexit: Here’s What We Know So Far About What’s Next for the City

The approval from Parliament of the free trade agreement between the UK and European Union just before the end of the transition period was cause for celebration for some, but there are still questions for how the City’s relationship with the bloc will play out.
On December 30, MPs gave the agreement the green light with 521 votes in favour and 73 against and the following day the Queen gave royal assent, putting the 1,200-page long bill into law.
