Data generation likely to drive ISIN changes – DSB

Data generation and alignment are likely to be the focus of any changes to the calibration and use of International Securities Identification Numbers (ISINs) for derivatives, according to the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB) in London.
Malavika Solanki, part of the management team at the global numbering agency for over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, said DSB’s product committee has focused heavily on the importance of data alignment over the past 18 months.
