ESMA Publishes New Trade Repository Guidelines

The European securities watchdog has published the latest round of its questions and answers (Q&A) for its stock loan and repo reporting rules and published new guidelines for trade repositories, effective from June 30.

The latest document comes shortly after the regulator published a 216 page document to provide market participants with additional guidance on how to comply with the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR).
